Shelf Life

I’m a self-described life-long student. When I embarked on my new career as a psychic intuitive, it was a deeper exploration of my chosen field: mass communications. Amassing 25 plus years in Corporate America was beneficial, but more learning was required. So, began my deep-dive into the spiritual co-existence of the Universe. Thankfully, there was a plethora of books by subject matter experts that helped me understand what I’d already experienced, and what I’d perhaps experience in the months and years ahead. Below, are a few of those titles. Check your local bookseller, amazon or even your library for availablity if you’re interested in learning more about your own spiritual connections.

Do Dead People Watch You Shower? by Concetta Bertoldi – This was the first book I read just as my major spiritual awakening exploded nearly five years ago. Written with with wit and candor by noted medium Bertoldi, her page-turner answers some of the most common questions about what happens on the other side. And, it received a raving endorsement from James Van Praagh, whose spirituality books are prominent on my shelves.

The Light of Roses by Samantha Doane-Bates – An exploration of past-life regression as a form of healing, witnessed through fascinating case studies and the author’s own spiritual journey. I had a session with Doane-Bates, a certified Transpersonal Clinical Hypnotherapist, and resounding lessons were uncovered.

The Reconnection by Dr. Eric Pearl – Published in many languages, the book focuses on the dynamics of healing energy. I attended one of Dr. Pearl’s conferences in a major U.S. city a few years ago (Details in my own forthcoming memoir) and practiced the techniques discussed in the book. And, there was a conference bonus: two women from my hometown were also attendees! Imagine that! Three people from Enterprise, Alabama participating at the same conference that attracted more than 300 from around the world. Amazing.

Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton, Ph.D. – Both are filled with case studies, interviews and research regarding the exploration of soul activity and experiences in the afterlife. The two offerings cover considerable ground, but, I, was especially fascinated with the author’s explanation of the soul’s multi-level structure.

Others who have blazed the trail with worthwhile reads are Deepak Chopra (I just finished his Life After Death), Louise Hay (whose You Can Heal Your Life has sold more than 30 million copies) and accomplished intuitives Lisa Williams (see below) and John Holland.

Next on my list is DMT The Spirit Molecule: A Doctor’s Revolutionary Research into the Biology of Near-Death and Mystical Experiences by Rick Strassman, M.D.

And, life’s learnings continue.

Love and light,

Tony
