Ash Wednesday

Wildfires have been burning near Palm Springs for the last two days, as smoke and ash continue to blow into the valley. While the blazes ignite stunning photo ops against scorching west coast sunsets, they’re also the force behind sending heroes out to silence any pending fears of domestic intrusion. Today’s message is simple: Send strength and safety to those whose mission is to protect human life and the Mother Ship.

Two weeks ago, I received an intuitive vision of palm seedlings scattered across a concrete landing (this messy occurrence is common in the desert when the towering trees branch out their new growth). When I received the image, I knew it meant to pay attention to something “out of the ordinary.” Meaning, other prominent items would take the place of where those seedlings would be traditionally. For the past couple of days, timber and debris ash from miles away have floated like gentle snowflakes over the mountain onto my lanai (and the rest of Palm Springs). Their presence is definitely out of the ordinary.

While I swept the patio six times yesterday, I’ve lost count on how much I’ve thanked those firefighters who have done sooooo much more.

In memory of the 19 Arizona firefighters who lost their lives earlier this year.

Love and light,

Tony

Hey, Tony. During events like these, it’s hard not to get caught up in thinking, “How will this impact ME?” Sending positive thoughts to others in and above the valley including, of course, the brave men and women fighting to contain the blaze.

I have been, and will continue, to keep all of the first responders in my prayers, as well as those families who have lost their loved ones to those devastating fires. My utmost respect goes out to those who willingly put their lives at risk in order to save others.

Thank you Tony, may all those close by and affected by this fire and all my friends in the Idyllwild area remain strong, grateful and safe, and especially those brave ones fighting this … much love and energy …
