All That Glee-ters

A few years ago, who knew that “Glee” would become the TV sensation that spawned CDs, live concerts and accelerated the careers of young stars Lea Michele, Darren Criss and Chris Colfer? Perhaps, Ryan Murphy, the show’s creator, did! After all, any success has to start with a vision. Followed by work, re-work and more re-work, until everything falls into alignment. The results, to which this series can attest, are often showstopping!

Of course, TV shows set in high school performing arts departments don’t have a corner on the market when it comes to shining moments. Just ask any Alabama Crimson Tide football fan who witnessed the collegiate team’s nail-biting Southeastern Championship win recently. Yes, it was head coach Nick Saban who had the strategic knowledge and leadership, but all of the other elements had to click as well, to include the offense, defense and a belief that a victory was attainable.

The concept of alignment is often discussed in my one-on-one intuitive consultations with clients. Someone might have a brilliant idea and are willing to do the work, but something’s out of sync. Not too long ago, a female client told me of her desire to be a fitness trainer. “I’ve even found a gym where I can conduct my sessions,” she said. My psychic insights were picking up conflicting energy connected to the owner of the gym. Descriptors like over-demanding and too controlling were heard in my head. Additionally, I felt that there was a place more suited for her practice, and described it to her. Her eyes locked with mine and she said, “You are so right! The guy who owns the health club has these ridiculous rules that would possibly restrict what I’d like to do. All along, he’s made it sound like he was doing me a favor to let me use his space.” She has since found the ideal spot for her work and seems to be thriving. Everything fell into alignment: vision, commitment, environment, opportunities, etc.

Each of us with a dream, goal or idea deserves a chance to audition and star in our own success. When the art of alignment becomes the center of attention, expect to take center stage!

Love and light,

Tony

Tony, thanks so much. I’ve been kind of “out of sorts” since we moved from the house to an apartment. I just need to wait until everything is in alignment again. As always, I really enjoy your blog. Love you and miss you, V V

Hey Honey – just know that you don’t have to wait for alignment…you can participate in it. Even what might appear to be something small – say, like a piece of furniture awkwardly placed in the apartment; move it somewhere else. Crazy as it may seem, even taking care of things like that will get the bigger picture more into alignment for you. Now, I need to go move this big-ass sofa !!! LOL!!!
