In Like Flint

Who knew that 60s’ pop culture icon, The Flintstones, would still be a hot ticket today? While Seth MacFarlane’s TV re-boot of the classic cartoon never materialized, there’s buzz that the prehistoric riders of the foot-powered car may now return again to the silver screen. So, why the popularity?

One reason might be because the clan’s bewildered patriarch, Fred, represents the underdog that emerges in each of us from time to time. If you’ve ever felt like the odds were stacked against you for whatever reason, then, like I tell my psychic consultation clients, that’s a Fred Flintstone moment. The Stone Age analogy may sound a bit corny, but, like Fred, we should aspire to address our challenges with determination that encourages personal growth and life fulfillment. And, it starts with a positive mindset.

After all, Fred’s catchphrase was “Yabba Dabba Doo,” not “Yabba Dabba Don’t!”

Love and light,

Tony
