I’ve had out-of-body experiences (OBE) before, but never one where my soul left my physical body and traveled through other dimensions to see a much younger version of myself – that was, until last week!
Over the years, I’ve blogged about my personal accounts with OBEs (OBE;OMG!, The Light) and their amazing variations. My most recent experience was one I’ll always remember, not just for the actual occurrence, but for what happened in my physical world just hours later!
Late last Tuesday evening, I was on the brink of slumber, a relaxed, but cognizant state. That’s when I saw and physically felt an energy field (this has happened prior to my previous OBEs). “I see you and feel you,” I expressed in deep thought.
And, with that, my soul left my body in a free-wheeling form of elation and was transported through other dimensions. When it finally arrived at an intended destination, a particular scenario awaited: there was an older man sitting behind an office desk facing a younger male, who looked as if he was applying for a job. Upon closer inspection, my soul realized that the younger person was none other than a 25 or 26-year-old version of myself!
“Wow! This is cool!” I mentally expressed while in my bed, as the OBE continued. “That’s definitely me!” Immediately after that acknowledgement, my soul returned to my physical body.
After awakening a few hours later, I vividly recalled the OBE and what it meant: in the spiritual world, the past, present and future are all together. Then, I saw there was a voice mail on my cell phone. The message was from a former boss – a man who interviewed and hired me for a post at MCI Telecommunications when I was 25-years-old, the same age as the younger version of myself in my OBE!
Needless to say, when the two of us had our reunited conversation – our first in 20 years – we had some catching up to do!

What a great experience, Tony. I am glad you are documenting and sharing this phenomenon; as, I believe it happens to others, but they would not share it out of fear of ridicule. The way out spirits work when we are sleeping is not known. We do know as it is documented what happens to people in surgeries where they can hear the doctor’s conversations and tell of them ‘seeing’ as if floating above the operating table. So, it makes sense that while we are ‘under in slumber’ spirit travel is available. And… what a nice connection from a past friend and mentor. Lovingly, Kim

So fascinating. What’s remarkable is that in spite of the amount of elapsed time since your last interaction with this gentleman, there he was! And there you were! When a sincere connection is made with another person, I believe that lasts forever.
It was like our reunited conversation was meant to be and pre-ordained by a higher power.

Thanks for sharing that Tony, I’ve only found myself getting taller to leave my body but never do. Tony can i ask you something, 2 mornings in a row (summer here in NZ) I’ve woken up to beautiful slanted writing on my ceiling from corner to corner but unfortunately couldn’t read it clearly as my specs were in lounge and I was so shocked and surprised I just lay there looking at it. What’s the meaning? If you dont answer that’s fine with me.
Hi ! My first insight was that the communication was aboriginal-related and/or very authentic to your soul. Personally, I’ve intuitively seen images of unusual languages and communication graphics attempting to reach me. I just realize that other spiritual sources are attempting to communicate with me and that I will understand the meaning and/or link at the right time. For me, my unusual communications, I believe, come from another dimension.
Thanks for sharing. I’ve had other friends in the past who have talked about OBEs and it has always fascinated me.. they’ve talked about experiences like you but also meeting other souls out also. I’ve never experienced it but so welcome it.
