Sweet ’16

I’m affectionately calling 2016, Sweet ’16. I’m not saying it’s going to be a nonstop party, but it feels like the year will bring opportunities for those who are eager to move their lives forward.

How does that happen? Well, it takes more than baking a cake! First and foremost, one must acknowledge what it is he or she wants to attract and/or accomplish. Whether it’s pursuing a career change, nurturing a relationship or embracing a little-known talent, it has to begin with stating your desire.

Second, do the work! Like I share with many of my psychic consultation clients, if you meet the Universe halfway, you’ll be amazed at the results. Recently, through my spiritual insights, I told a client that he wanted own an art gallery. He confirmed, “Wow! That’s so true, but,” as his voice tapered off, “I put it on the back burner.”

Naturally, his comment was my prompt to ask why he took that course of action. His response was somewhat typical: “A good friend of mine thought it was a crazy idea and that I’d hate it.” In other words, he put the blame on someone else, or, at least, someone else’s opinion.

“To be fair, let’s talk about reasons why it’s not a crazy idea and why you would like it,” I suggested. Before we knew it, he’d built up a stockpile of positives. Nearing the end of the session, he agreed that progress was made thanks to that exercise. Now, it’s his choice how to move his aspiration along. Identified options included exploring potential gallery venues and building a Rolodex of local and regional artists.

Finally, one has to believe in the vision. In turn, one will learn from and enjoy the process. Sure, mistakes and mishaps will happen, but those allow one to refine and make even better decisions going forward.

Happy Sweet ’16 everyone! Don’t forget to make a wish!

Love and light,

Tony

Happy Sweet '16!!!

    Tony,
This post made me cry. I am always so busy just trying to make a living and help out the family that I have lost me in there somewhere over the years.

Our emotions often lead us to make positive decisions and actions to advance our personal growth. I call it inspiration. Let’s make our Sweet ’16 one that’s special!

I like the sound of “sweet sixteen” so much better than the happy 50th I recently heard. 🙂 And, seeing that I jut got my AZ driver’s license, I guess I’m just a teenager now. Thanks Tony. I’m one of the lucky ones following my dream.
